Library publishing agreements exempted from council approval (ordinance) Item 31
An ordinance adding a subdivision to the Los Angeles Administrative Code so Library Department publishing agreements no longer need City Council approval. As an ordinance on first consideration it needed a unanimous vote with at least 12 members present; it first passed with fewer members in the room, was set to be held a week, and was then reconsidered and adopted once 12 members were present.
- Adopt items 31 through 33 and 35 through 50 in one vote. Result: passed.
- Reconsider item 31 now that 12 members are present. Result: passed, 12 ayes.
- Adopt the ordinance on item 31. Result: passed, 12 ayes.
