Contracts and grantsGovernment technology

Council file 24-1184-S1. A City Administrative Officer recommendation authorizing the Personnel Department to sign a Second Amended and Restated Professional Services Agreement (Contract No. C-139210) with PureEHS Buyer LLC, formerly UL Verification Services, Inc. The amendment adds $412,506 (agenda), bringing the not-to-exceed total to $1,344,734 (agenda). It extends the term by two years, to run September 30, 2021 through September 29, 2028, and updates the standard city contract provisions. The CAO says the money is in the Personnel Department's 2026-27 budget under the line item 'Occupational Health Management software,' with no additional General Fund impact. The Personnel and Hiring Committee waived consideration, so the item needed 10 votes to be considered, and the time limit for council action was November 3, 2026. No councilmember spoke on it. A few public commenters addressed it (see public comment).

  • Approve the CAO recommendation to execute the second amended and restated agreement with PureEHS Buyer LLC. Result: passed, 12-0.
