Supervisors announced new legislation and requests; nothing here was voted on. The roll call started before the 2:30 p.m. commendations and resumed afterward. Introduced: a Filipino American history month resolution and an ordinance exempting publicly funded Port resilience projects from the city's fiscal feasibility review; a hearing on street conditions around public schools and an ordinance changing Sunshine Ordinance Task Force terms and removal rules; an ordinance banning sale of certain locking butane torch lighters and a National PrEP Day resolution; a resolution designating a Twin Peaks biodiversity region; a letter of inquiry to the Planning Department on shadow impacts and a resolution on proposed 2030 census changes. Two in-memoriam requests were made. Danny Sauter (Supervisor, District 3), Stephen Sherrill (Supervisor, District 2), Shamann Walton (Supervisor, District 10), Alan Wong (Supervisor, District 4) and Connie Chan (Supervisor, District 1) submitted without remarks.
